Ladik is a very well-known carpet group which has many examples in museums throughout the world. Ladik is a suburb of Konya.The oldest example woven in the 15 th and 16 th centuries were made from pure wool, and portrayed prayer niches. The carpers which are produced today are made with a wool and cotton combination.

The predominant motif on these carpets is a central medallion surrounded by naturalist renderings of spiral lines, twisted branches, tulips, camation and other flowers.

Ladik rugs are durable and colorful, and they match easily with many different interior decoration styles. Today they are mostly woven in medium sizes (2-3 m2) and large sizes (5-6-8-10-12 m2)

MATERIAL: Warp and weft are cotton, and the pile is wool
