NIGDE KARS

In the region of Nigde, different version of the Kars rugs are woven. In the past, different patterns were produced, but nowadays the motifs and compositions of the Kazak rugs are used most widely. These rugs have primarily soft colors with medium knot density and have thicker pile than most other types. Geometrical designs dominate and the material is 100 % wool.

This types of rug can be found in the largest variety of sizes. Some examples of the sizes are 40*60, 60*90, 90*130, 120*180, 150*225, 180*250,   200*300,  250*350, 300*400 centimeters.
Square- shaped rugs are also available.

MATERIAL: Warp, weft, and pile are pure wool.
